Spring riding/skiing is here!!!
...Crotched Mountain has some of the best spring riding/skiing conditions in the area! The mountain is 100% open along with two terrain parks (Zero-G & CM Terrain Parks), which combined have over 45 features for your riding/skiing pleasure. Our Big Air Competition was a huge success, with over 20 riders/skiers throwing down on our massive 70' booter! Be sure to check out the CM Big Air Video!
The weather for the rest of the week and weekend is going to be fantastic!! Remember Spring Carnival is this Saturday, where you can slide down part of Crotched Mountain in an original card board sled or try your luck skimming across our Crotched Mountain lake! Whatever it might be, Crotched Mountain Spring Carnival is an event you cannot miss!!! Let's hope that Sunday brings good weather for the Sunny Slopestyle Competition!

(Just a heads-up if you’re somewhat new to the freestyle side of skiing and snowboarding, I would suggest learning your new tricks in our progression terrain park, Zero-G! As soon as you’re comfortable with rails and jumps then I would scoot on over to CM Terrain Park where you’ll find stepped up features for experienced riders/skiers.) SMART STYLE

The Freestyle Terrain Safety Initiative, "Smart Style", created by The National Ski Areas Association educates both skiers and riders about the proper use and progression of terrain parks at mountain resorts. the "Smart Style" message along with existing safety messages; will help to heighten the sense of education and awareness about the proper use of terrain parks in a way that is not hard to deliver, or for that matter to digest.
The more people become involved to help spread the word, the better!
There are four main messages that are associated with Smart Style.
- MAKE A PLAN
Every time you use freestyle terrain, make a plan for each feature you want to use. Your speed, approach and take off will directly affect your maneuver and landing. - LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAP
Scope around the jumps first, not over them. Know your landings are clear and clear yourself out of the landing area. - EASY STYLE IT
Start small and work your way up. - RESPECT GETS RESPECT
