2009-10 Advantage Crotched - Improvements
Posted on - 2009-09-25This summer has been a busy one at Crotched Mountain. With the main focus of improving the customer experience and making your time at Crotched more memorable, Crotched is going to have a whole different feel this coming season. Here are some of the improvements made to the mountain this summer... Enjoy!
CM skiing conditions for 09/10 season will be even closer to heaven, remember though to show up early, the first two hours on any ski trail are usually the best. |
Lodge Improvements -
The first major project completed this summer was the addition of a new floor in the base lodge & let me tell you, it is very pretty. It gives the whole 1st floor of the lodge a completely different look.
After many debates on the “LOOKS” of CM’s lodge, the verdict has come in … Comments from our customers: “all in one building … easy to get around … huge rental shop with direct access to the beginner slopes … inside ticket booths to stay warm … clean and spacious cafeteria with plenty of room and tables to sit down … lots of cubby holes for storage in the entrance lobby” … and this year a brand new FIREPLACE! …
The next two mountain projects are being worked on as you read this:
The first being an extension of the outside deck attached to the ATC building. This will give Crotched the ability to hold some cool functions throughout the year. The deck will have a built in BBQ (next season) and be located in close proximity to the bonfire.
The re-painting of all the lift towers and terrain park features on the mountain has been completed, no easy task. Could you picture yourself hanging off a 50 ft. lift tower painting all the nooks and crannies. Oops...you missed a spot!
Fall Colors ...
Come for a hike up the mountain and check all this out ... the colors are gorgeous and the view magnificent from the top of CM.
Well folks, that is all I have for you now. Be sure to get your season passes early and pray for a snow filled winter season.
Happy skiing...
Craig
